ISLAMABAD According to a study by a US Institute, the US led war onterrorism has killed over five hundred thousand people in Afghanistan, Iraqand Pakistan post 9/11 attacks.
The study conducted by Brown University states the deaths over the past twoyears has shown a twenty two percent increase.
It shows the death toll includes civilians, security personnel and themilitants.
The report says the number of indirect deaths was several times larger thandeaths caused by direct war violence, bringing the total death count towell over one million people.
It says fatalities in Afghanistan, as of October 2018, stood at about147,000 people.
