ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan takes yet another new initiative inthe governence history of Pakistan.
PM Khan has approved constitution of a Task Force on Technology DrivenKnowledge Economy.
The Task Force is being established with an aim to carry out Foresightexercises at regular intervals in order to constantly re-evaluate nationalpriorities and put in place strategies and action plans, with delineatedtimelines, to build a powerful knowledge economy.
The PM’s Task Force on Technology Driven Knowledge Economy would becomprising of leading scientists/engineers, representatives from privatesector, federal and provincial governments. The decision was taken during ameeting of the Prime Minister with Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman here at PrimeMinister’s Office today (Tuesday).
