Afghan Regional Police Chief killed by Afghan Taliban

KABUL – Afghan Taliban have killed Afghanistan district police chief in anattack.

As per media report, Abdul Samad, the police chief for Gurziwan district inFaryab, was killed in a Taliban attack on Monday night, Faryab police saidTuesday.

According to Faryab police, the incident occurred when group of Talibanattacked the district center.

Three of Samad’s bodyguards were also killed in the attack, police said.

Faryab police said that during the clash 10 Taliban insurgents were killedand wounded. Taliban has not commented on the report.
