*SRINAGAR – Hailing the statement of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan overkillings in Indian occupied Kashmir, t**he Chairman of All Parties HurriyatConference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani,** called for an urgent meeting of theOrganization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), **Kashmir Media Service** reported. *
“Pakistan, being a prime party to the dispute, needs to do much more as thekillings have no end in occupied Kashmir,” said the APHC chairman.
The Hurriyat leader further demanded an immediate meeting of the OIC to puta check on the bloodbath taking place in the held territory on daily basis.
PM Khan in a series of tweets on Dec 16 denounced the ongoing killing spreeunleashed by New Dehli stating that Pakistan would raise issue India’shuman rights violations and urge the United Nations to fulfill itscommitment on holding a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier this week, Gilani was barred from leading a march towards theBadami Bagh Indian army headquarters after being house arrested.
