ISLAMABAD – After ExxonMobil, yet another World leading giant inhydrocarbons explorations has expressed interest in making oil and gasdiscoveries in Pakistan.
Sichuan Chuanzhong Gas Investment Company, a major gas sector group fromChina, has expressed willingness to invest in Pakistan for exploration andproduction of natural gas.
A delegation of the company met Federal Petroleum Minister Ghulam SarwarKhan on Wednesday at the Petroleum Division.
After financing the gas exploration sectors in China and India, the companyis now interested in tapping the hydrocarbon resources of Pakistan, aPetroleum Division press release said.

The minister assured the delegation that the government would provideconducive environment to foreign investors. The delegation thanked thefederal minister for his cooperation.
