Pakistan strongly responds over attack on Kashmiri Muslims from Hindu goons

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has strongly condemned the continuing attacks onKashmiris, in the aftermath of the Pulwama attack in Occupied Kashmir.

In a tweet, Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said thatKashmiri students are also being systemically targeted in India as theauthorities stay complicit and inactive.

The spokesperson urged India not to use the Pulwama attack as a carteblanche to intensify its atrocities against innocent Kashmiris in the heldKashmir.

Hard-line Hindu groups have held Kashmiris as easy target across Indiaafter the attacks in Pulwama.

In Jammu, dozens of vehicles and shops, belonging to Muslims in the areahave been set on fire by extremist Hindu mobs. Kashmiri students inside theIndian held valley and across were subjected to torture while the Kashmiribusiness community, in Indian states, is under severe strain.

Kashmiri girls studying in Dehradun, capital of the Indian state ofUttarakhand, locked themselves in their rooms after a mob had assembledoutside their hostel and threatened them to vacate the hostel they wereliving in.

The terrified female students urged upon the government to airlift them sothat they can be safe.

A distressed student while seeking help said that the mob was threateningthem to vacate, adding that If we would go outside our rooms we will beattacked by the mob as they have surrounded our hostel.
