ISLAMABAD – China Scholarship Council (CSC), entrusted by the Ministry ofEducation of People’s Republic of China, has announced fully fundedscholarships for years 2019-20 at bachelor to PhD level for the Pakistanias well as international students, faculty and scholars.

This initiative has been taken in order to promote the mutualunderstanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between Chinaand other countries, said an official .

Talking to APP, he said that the Chinese government has set up a series ofscholarship programs to sponsor the students, teachers and scholars tostudy and conduct research in Chinese universities.

China Scholarship Council (CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education ofPeople’s Republic of China, is responsible for the enrollment and theadministration of Chinese Government Scholarship programs 2019-20, he added.

He said that now around 289 designated Chinese universities offer a widevariety of academic programs in Science, Engineering, Agriculture,Medicine, Economics, Legal studies, Management, Education, History,Literature, Philosophy and Fine arts for scholarship recipients at alllevels.

Chinese Government Scholarship programs sponsor international includingPakistani students, teachers and scholars to undertake degree studies(bachelor, master or PhD) and Chinese language study or academic researchin institutions of higher education in China, he concluded.
