NEW DELHI – On Sunday, PM Modi visited Prayagraj and took a dip at the”sangam” or the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers.
It is believed that taking a holy dip at the meeting point, also known as”shahi snann”, washes away all the sins a person commits in his/herlifetime.
Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati asked if Prime Minister Narendra Modi’sholy dip in the Ganga river will wash away his sins of “poll promises,treachery and other wrong doings”.
“Will a ‘SHAHI’ dip in Sangam by PM Modi be able to wash sins of renegingpoll promises, treachery and other state wrongs?,”
