Prime Minister Imran Khan says India has been gripped by “War Hysteria” that threatens to unleash further hostilities in the run-up to their national elections.
In an interview with the Financial Times, Imran Khan said he is still apprehensive before the elections and feel that something can happen.
Imran Khan said India’s Prime Minister acted as the aggressor for planning a missile strike that brought the two countries close to war.
He said Indian Prime Minister used the Pulwama attack to build war hysteria. He said the Indian public should realize that this is all for winning the elections. It’s nothing to do with the real issues of the subcontinent.
The Prime Minister further said that the deadly attack was the outcome of Modi’s “anti-Muslim” government and its heavy-handed policies in Occupied Kashmir.
Imran Khan said Pakistan has no links to Jaish-e-Mohammad.
The Prime Minister said there is no place for terrorists in his “New Pakistan”.
He added we are already cracking down on terrorists and what is happening right now has never happened before in Pakistan.
