Signs of rebellion: Yet another key PTI minister refuse to accept new ministry

ISLAMABAD: Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Ghulam Sarwar Khan hasrefused to take charge as Aviation minister after he was removed asPetroleum minister in the major reshuffling in the cabinet.

According to local media reports, after reshuffling the federal cabinetGhulam Sarwar Khan was given ministry of Aviation, but he denied assumingcharge of it.

Reports added that former petroleum minister is unhappy after being removedfrom petroleum ministry.

Yesterday, Sarwar also showed his reservation and refused to take any otherministry and threatened to leave the party, if Petroleum ministry was takenback from him.

It may be recalled that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Asad Umar onThursday had announced that he is stepping down from his post as financeminister.

Federal cabinet on Thursday saw a major reshuffle with the resignation ofAsad Umar as finance minister and appointment of noted economist HafeezShaikh as Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance.
