ISLAMABAD – In a major political development, the federal government onFriday has endorsed Shehbaz Sharif’s offer of ‘Charter of Economy’.
As per details garnered, Speaker National Assembly (NA), Asad Qaiser,called on Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan here in Islamabad to contemplateon offer extended by Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) ShehbazSharif.
The premier has also decided to constitute a high-level parliamentarycommittee to pull country out of the deepening economic quagmire. The[would be] parliamentary committee will have members from both treasury andopposition benches.
The committee will also have members from the lower and upper houses of theparliament.

It is pertinent here to mention that Shehbaz Sharif—during his speech in NAon budget session—had stated had said that Charter of Economy was possiblewith Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government in supreme national interest.
