ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to address the nationand he will talk on amnesty scheme launched by PTI government, sources inPM office said.
The short message of PM Imran would be recorded in next 24 hours and itwould be aired after that, sources added.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan urged the countrymen to avail the taxamnesty scheme introduced by the government for avoiding any scrutiny inthe future, and help steer the country out of prevailing economic crisis.
“We have introduced a scheme for declaration of the assets. This is theeasiest one. This is valid till June 30. This is an opportunity for you todeclare your benami properties and bank accounts. You will not get such achance after June 30,” PM Imran had remarked in his televised message tothe nation.
“By this, we can brighten the future of our children, make the countryself-dependent and uplift our poor people. Above all, you will have soundsleep without any fear from any institution. This is in everyone’sinterest,” he had said.
PM Imran said out of Pakistan’s 220 million population, only one percent istax filer bearing the burden of the whole population.
