On September 26, Pakistan, Turkey and Malaysia had decided to launch ajoint English channel to counter Islamophobia.

The decision was taken following a trilateral meeting between PrimeMinister Imran Khan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and PrimeMinister Mahathir Muhammad of Malaysia in New York.
