PMLQ top brass meets Imran Khan in Bani Gala today: Sources

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has finally decided tosupport PTI in Punjab and federal government.

PML Q leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi will meet Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)chairman Imran Khan at his residence in Bani Gala Islamabad.

While refusing to support PML-N, PML-Q has decided to support its ally PTI.linkdecision was taken after a high-level meeting headed by Chaudhry ShujaatHussain.

It was said in the meeting that Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N) alwayscontacted to gain benefit. “We are the allies of PTI and this alliance willbe further strengthened. We will support PTI in Punjab and centre.

Sources privy to development stated that PML-N had contacted PML-Q throughformer speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayaz Sadiq and had offered keyoffices in the would-be coalition government.

On the other hand, six more MPA elect have joined ranks of Imran Khan, thusstrengthening his position in Punjab with a lead of 134 seats.——————————

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had announced final results of allthe constituencies of the national and provincial assemblies, more than 56hours after the conclusion of voting for the 2018 General Elections in thecountry.

Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) party has won 116 of the 270National Assembly seats, emerging as the largest political party in thecountry. The PML-N grabbed 64 seats, while the PPP is in third place with43 National Assembly seats.

Similarly, Mutahida Majlis Amal (MMA) secured 12 seats and Pakistan MuslimLeague (Q), Balochistan Natioanl Party, Mutahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan,and Balochistan Awami Party has secured 4, 03, 06, and 04 seat respectively.

Awami National Party (ANP) has won one seat, Awami Muslim League (AML),Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaniyat and Jamhoori Wattan Party (JWP) have alsograbbed one NA seat each.

Fourteen independent candidates have also remained successful in theirconstituencies.
