ISLAMABAD – PM Imran khan has given a befitting response to Indianjournalists over questing relating to Dawood Ibrahim.
A day after the foundation ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor, Imran Khanasserted the he couldn’t answer for the ‘past’ when questioned aboutattacks on Indian soil despite signing agreements.
He said: “If I do an agreement, then question me about it”.When asked aboutDawood Ibrahim he said he wasn’t responsible for the past. He said: “Wecan’t live in the past. We also have a list of wanted in India… It is notin Pakistan’s interest to have terror from our soil.”
When questioned about UN sanction against 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed, hesaid there was a clampdown and the matter was sub-judice, saying he hadinherited the issue.
He also said his ‘small men’ tweet, which many had seen as an attack on PMModi wasn’t aimed at the Indian Prime Minister called it a ‘general tweet’
He also wondered if people were afraid of peace and said: “Why would you beafraid of dialogue?…almost as if there is no intention of peace.”
