ISLAMABAD – PM Khan has revealed that 88 thousands acre land was vacatedwhich illegally captured by the land mafia in Punjab in one of the largestsuch operation in Pakistan.

For eradicating corruption, Imran Khan said that corruption has hinderedPakistan’s progress. “We didn’t even know how common corruption was. Even Ididn’t know it. He cannot progress until people are stopped from engagingin corruption practices.”

He said that an asset recovery unit was formed with the aim to sign MoUswith other countries for information sharing. “We have signed agreementswith 26 countries. We signed a MoU with Switzerland today. “We have beenunable to trace $11 billion undeclared money of Pakistani in foreigncountries,” he remarked.

The premier pointed out that the PTI government made the NAB, FIA and otherinstitutions as independent from the influence of government. “NAB is notunder us. It is an independent organisation. We are not responsible for theactions of NAB,” he said.

On poverty alleviation, He said the government was also devising a systemto alleviate poverty in the country. He described corruption as the verydifference between prosperous and under-developed nations.
