The large entourage did incur a lot of expenses since they were housed in luxury hotels throughout the vacation. As per an Israeli newspaper, the entourage used more than 200 cars which again mounted the expenses of the trip.

King Salman stayed at his property in Tangier–his 74-acre summer palace that offers an exquisite view and contains lavish restaurants.

King Salman has certainly made upgrades to his retreat in Morocco and thanks to satellite images, one can see that a few buildings have been constructed on the property as well as a huge tent the size of a circus top has also propped up. And of course, three helipads have also been constructed.

As per various media reports, King Salman’s visit has accounted for 1.5 percent of Morocco’s foreign tourism revenue.
