ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif says Pakistan is a peaceloving country and we want cordial relations with all neighboring countries.

The Minister said that efforts are being made to develop strong relationswith Afghanistan and Iran as well as Russia.

To another question, he said that Pakistan and Russia are enjoying cordialrelations and Moscow extending cooperation to Pakistan in different fields.

Foreign Minister said we want a peaceful and stable Afghanistan as it is inthe best interest of Pakistan.

He said Pakistan is making hectic efforts to eliminate menace of terrorismfrom the country and there are no safe havens of terrorists.

He said no country in the world has done more than Pakistan to counterterrorism and no country has suffered more than Pakistan.

The Foreign Minister said that the mega China Pakistan Economic Corridorwill play an instrumental role in bringing change and usher economicstability and prosperity in the region.
