Afghan Taliban Military Chief for North killed, claims Afghan Military

KABUL – Afghan Military has claimed death of military chief of Taliban fornorthern Parwan province.

As per media report Taliban Military Chief has been killed in an apparentinfighting, the local security officials said Friday.

Provincial Police Chief Mohammad Mahfuz Walizada said Mullah Qadir, theshadow military chief of Taliban has been killed along with two others inJabal Saraj district.

He said Mullah Qadir has apparently been killed in an infighting among theTaliban militants.

Muhfuz further added that another Taliban militant has also sustainedinjuries during the clash which took place late on Thursday night.

The anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban have notcommented regarding of Mullah Qadir so far.
