MOSCOW – For the first-time ever in the history, One-on-One meetingbetween the National Security Advisers of Pakistan and Russia took place inMoscow.

that inter-Ministerial level delegations led by National Security Advisersof the two countries met each other.

A high-level Inter-Ministerial delegation led by National Security AdvisorNasser Khan Janjua visited Moscow on the invitation of Secretary of theSecurity Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev.

The Security Advisor of Pakistan gave an elaborate presentation to thebilateral forum on trends of global power politics and shared his strategicthinking about evolving security challenges around the globe withparticular focus on the region.

He also highlighted the common opportunities for Russia and Pakistan.Regional connectivity and prospects of closer cooperation in the fields ofspace, defence, security, economy and trade, cyber security,intelligence-sharing remained the main focus of the delegation level talks.

Both sides reiterated to continue to work together for further improvementin relationship and to seek enduring peace and stability in the region.
