PM Imran Khan breaks silence over Indian Military Chief threats to Pakistan
LAHORE – Prime Minister Imran Khan has responded back to the threats posed by the Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat.
Khan warned Indian civilian and military brass against hurling threats at Pakistan.
Khan was addressing ceremony here in Lahore today.
Responding to reckless statements of Indian Army Chief Gen Bipin, Khan reiterated that Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be construed for weakness.
“We will not take pressure of anyone. Indian govt should drop its arrogant attitude. Normalizing of ties is in greater interest of both nations”, Khan was quoted as saying.
Khan added poverty would be eliminated from Indo-Pak subcontinent if ties between arch-rivals switch back to normal
