Fee structure of private sector universities revised

PESHAWAR: On the recommendation of the Regulatory Authority, the Competent Authority of HERA has revised Fee Structure of Private Sector Universities and other institutions imparting Higher Education in Private Sector with immediate effect as was notified by Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA) Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Application processing Revised Fee, University/Degree awarding Institutions (DAI) Rs. 100.000/-, Medical/Dental/Engineering Colleges Rs. 100,000/-, Other Vocational/Professional Institutions/Homeopathic Colleges Rs. 40,000/- , Common Degree Colleges Rs.20,000/- Inspections Fee University/Degree Awarding Institutions (DAI) Rs. 150,000/-, Medical/Dental/Engineering Colleges Rs. 150,000/-, Other Vocational/Professional Institutions/Homeopathic Colleges Rs. 75,000/-, Common Degree Colleges Rs.40,000/- Registration Fee University/ Degree awarding Institution (DAI) Rs. 10,00,000, Medical/Dental/Engineering Colleges Rs. 10,00,000/-, Other Vocational/Professional Institutions/Homeopathic Colleges Rs. 400,000/- , Common Degree Colleges Rs.200,000/- Registration Fee for Additional Disciplines.
Medical/Dental/Engineering Colleges Rs. 500,000/-, Other Vocational/Professional Institutions/Homeopathic Colleges Rs. 200,000, Common Degree Colleges Rs.100,000 Annual Renewal Fee University/ Degree awarding Institution (DAI) Rs. 200.000/-, Medical/Dental College Rs. 500,000/-, Engineering Colleges Rs. 250,000/- Other Vocational/Professional Institutions/Homeopathic Colleges Rs. 50,000/- , Common Degree Colleges Rs.25,000/- Due date for payment of annual Renewal Fee 1st January of each Year Late payment penalties.
Up to end of February no penalty, Up to end of April 25 % of Renewal Fee, up to end of June 50 % fee, from 1st July onwards equal to renewal fee plus surcharge of 5 % of total payable amount for every month of delay.
Change of premises or ownership with prior permission from HERA 15% of the registration Fee, without prior permission from HERA 20% of the Registration Fee.
In case an institution fails to renew its registration by the end of calendar year, it will become a defaulter and liable to closure and imposition of fine under the rules.
