PTI makes new conditional talks offer to establishment

Raoof Hasan, a spokesperson for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has voiced optimism about resolving the ongoing impasse between PTI and the military, emphasizing that ending this deadlock is crucial for the state's well-being, according to ARY News.
In an interview with Voice of America (VoA), Hasan asserted that the stalemate between PTI and the army should be resolved promptly. He stressed the urgency of initiating dialogue between the two parties without further delay. Hasan underscored that achieving political stability in Pakistan depends on acknowledging PTI’s mandate, whether through judicial review or new elections.
He clarified that PTI does not aim to involve the military in politics but acknowledged the necessity of engaging in discussions with the military due to their substantial influence in the country.
Hasan proposed that a judicial commission investigate the events of May 9 and that if any wrongdoing is uncovered, PTI would be willing to offer an apology.
He also noted that some PTI leaders have personal connections within the army that could aid in future negotiations. Additionally, Hasan mentioned that PTI founder Imran Khan has authorized Mahmood Achakzai to engage in negotiations with both political parties and, if needed, the military.
Hasan criticized the current government for its inability to influence the judiciary effectively, highlighting that the government’s functionality is reliant on judicial support. He observed a growing trend of independence within the judiciary.
Finally, Hasan refuted claims of his connections with anti-national elements, challenging the information minister to provide concrete evidence supporting such allegations.
