Indian Army imposes curfew in Srinagar to avoid sit in protest outside UN Headquarters

In occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities have imposed curfew and restrictions in Srinagar and other parts of the territory to prevent a sit-in protest outside the UN office in Srinagar on Saturday.

The joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has called for complete shutdown and a peaceful sit-in protest outside the UN office at Sonawar in Srinagar against the surge in killings by Indian forces in the territory.

The objective of the protest is to urge the United Nations to ask India to stop the massacre of people in Kashmir and to remind the World Body to fulfil its commitments made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
