ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has given a strong response over the deadly attack inAfghanistan.
Pakistan has strongly condemned terrorist attack in Afghanistan that killedsenior security officials and injured at least 12 others.
Pakistan PM and Army Chief have also strongly condemned the deadly attack.
“Pakistan stands with the Afghan government and people and reiterates itssupport for the Afghan democratic process,” Foreign Office spokesperson DrMuhammad Faisal said in a statement.
“We hope that the parliamentary elections taking place the day aftertomorrow would be held peacefully. Strengthening of democracy is key tolong term peace and security in Afghanistan,” he added.

The spokesperson said Pakistan condemned terrorism and expressed heartfeltsympathies and condolences to the families and friends of those who hadlost their lives. He also prayed for swift recovery of the injured.
