*LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has decided to spendthe concluding week of the election campaign in Lahore, rather than in thefederal capital Islamabad.*
The party has therefore decided to not hold the grand political gatheringannounced on July 23 at iconic D-Chowk in Islamabad. Instead Imran willcampaign in Lahore on July 18,19,21 and conclude the election campaign onJuly 23 two days before the general elections.
The party will organise rallies and campaign in the provincial capitalwhere it is seeking control from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)who faces further troubles over the incarceration of former premier NawazSharif.
Imran Khan will visit the NA-123 constituency in Lahore on July 18 fromwhere he is also seeking elections. He will visit three constituenciesNA-133, NA-135 and NA-136 on July 19.
According to the campaign schedule, Imran will spend a busy day on July 21visiting NA-124, NA-125, NA-126 and NA-129 constituencies.
The last day of the election campaign will be on July 23 when Imran willvisit NA-128, NA-130, NA-131, NA-132 and NA-134 constituencies.
Iftikhar Durrani, central president of the PTI media wing, has said thatImran Khan will spend the concluding of the election campaign in Lahore.
Imran will also arrive in Karachi on July 22, and will spend the last dayin Islamabad prior to the election. The campaign, which kicked off fromMianwali has seen Imran Khan across the country, will conclude in Lahore.
