ISLAMABAD – Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) held talks over the support for the elections of Speaker and DeputySpeaker National Assembly.

GDA on Tuesday has announced to support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)candidates Asad Qaisar and Qasim Khan Suri for National Assembly speakerand deputy speaker polls.

Former National Assembly speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza assured to take everystep to strengthen Pakistan while Ghous Baksh Mehar clarified to back PTIat every forum.

Earlier today, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Syed Khurshid Shah hassubmitted his nomination papers for the election of speaker NationalAssembly while PTI Qasim Khan Suri also submitted his papers for the slotof the NA deputy speaker.

The polling will be held on August 15 during NA session.
