Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday arrived in Kyrgyzstan to represent Pakistan in the 19th Meeting of the Council of the Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
PM Imran was received by Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev and the Kyrgyz Minister for Health Kosmosbek Sarievich Cholponbaev.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Special Assistant to PM on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar are accompanying the PM.
The PM will address two sessions of the meeting and will have bilateral interaction with other participating leaders on the sidelines.
Earlier this week, PM Imran had said that he is looking forward to meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin on the SCO sidelines.
A number of decisions will be approved by country heads, besides the signing of agreements to intensify cooperation in diverse fields.
