Economy- Pakistan Stock Exchange bearish trend continues

KARACHI - The Pakistan Stock Exchange was bearish on Thursday. The KSE-100 Index closed on Thursday at 40237.53 points as compared to 40503.68 points Wednesday with a negative change of 266.15 points.

The total turnover was 137,991,430 as compared 129,563,190 yesterday with K-Electric Limited reflecting the highest turnover of 13,513,500.

The total 395 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today. Out of which 73 recorded gains and 306 sustained losses whereas the share price of 16 companies remained unchanged.

Unilever Foods XD recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 240.00 rupees while Sanofi-Aventis recorded maximum decrease that was 81.55 rupees.
