First ever needlework Quran Kareem unveiled

TEHRAN – The first needlework Quran in the world, unveiled on Monday evening in the presence of a group of officials in Rafsanjan, Kerman province.
'It took four years until the needlework was performed on a fabric,' said Ms Batoul Akbari, Rafsanjani Artist and creator of this work of art.
Each page of this Quran is a fabric with 50cm length and 35 cm width.
Needlework is decorative sewing and textile arts handicrafts, Anything that uses a needle for construction can be called needlework.
Needlework may include related textile crafts such as crochet, worked with a hook, or tatting, worked with a shuttle.
