*ISLAMABAD – Saudi State Minister for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir heldan important meeting with COAS General Bajwa.*

*As per media report, he called Chief of Army Staff General Qamar JavedBajwa at GHQ on Thursday.*

They discussed the Pak-India tension and situation in the region.

The Saudi minister lauded Pakistan’s efforts for peace in the region.“Saudi Arabia is a true friend of Pakistan and will continue to supportPakistan for regional peace,” he said.

The COAS thanked Saudi Arabia for making efforts for peace and stabilityduring difficult time of Pakistan.

Earlier, Saudi State Minister for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir called onPrime Minister Imran Khan.

He also conveyed the message of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

Upon his arrival, he was welcomed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’office by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi he arrived in Pakistan.

They discussed the current situation in the region, as well as othermatters of common interest including economics, politics and security.

In today’s meeting, the Saudi minister assured Foreign Minister Qureshi ofSaudi Arabia’s complete and overwhelming support towards solving the issueswith India in a peaceful manner.
