Singer Ali Zafar slams Meesha Shafi, throws her a challenge

*ISLAMABAD - Hours after singer Meesha Shafi requested change of judge in defamation suit filed by him, singer and actor Ali Zafar took to Twitter and slammed her for “running away”.*
“Kindly #FaceTheCourtMeeshaShafi and pay the damages. Running away and closing twitter account for #gameofthrones spoilers will not help,” Ali Zafar wrote while quoting a tweet from his lawyer.

Ali Zafar, who is suing Meesha for defamation over her allegations that he sexually harassed her on multiple occasions including a jamming session before their December concert, also retweeted another lawyer’s tweet in which the lawyer termed Meesha’s move a ‘delaying tactic’. link
“Meesha Shafi now wants her case transferred to a different judge because the one hearing Ali Zafar’s defamation claim is ‘biased’. As a trial lawyer I can tell you this is a popular delaying tactic by litigants who know they don’t stand a chance,” wrote one Barrister Hamza Gulzar.
