LAHORE – Bollywood is set to come up with a biopic of sports star Sania Mirza. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Ronnie Screwvala has just acquired the rights to make a film on the life of Sania Mirza.
Ronnie Screwvala will produce a biopic on ace tennis player Sania Mirza who has been world No. 1 in doubles and has won six Grand Slam titles in her sports career so far.

The report mentions that though Ronnie has bagged the rights to make a biopic on Sania, the director is yet to be finalized after which the process of casting for the film will begin.
A source close to the tennis player said, “Many have been wanting to make a film on Sania’s life for a while now and Ronnie has finally bagged the rights for it. The story will be a balance of her professional and personal life with the latter getting more prominence. The makers will zero down on a director soon, after which they will begin the casting process.”

The film will focus on both Sania’s professional life as well as her personal one, which will include her wedding with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2010.
