XINJIANG: Pak-China Logistic Cell foundation Stone laid under CPEC

Pak-China’s massive Logistic Complex Cell foundation stone laid under CPEC in Xinjiang province.

The project covers an area of 58 hectares with a cost of USD 464 million and will connect Xinjiang to Azad Kashmir.

The project will be started in Tashkurghan Tajik Autonomous County which is situated near Kashgar town in Xinjiang at 3,200 meters above sea level.

The project consisted of three stages which include an Internet service administration centre, a cross-border e-commerce enterprise incubator and a modern warehousing and logistics centre.

It is also claimed that a cold-chain logistics and cross-border transportation system will be developed later.

India protested against the project as it passes through the controversial area of Kashmir.

It is also claimed that a commodity exhibition centre, manufacturing and assembly factories, hotels, entertainment facilities and vehicle maintenance stations will be developed further after the completion of first three stages of project.
