LAHORE – PTI leadership is in a fix over awarding the NA 131 ticket, aseat vacated by PM Imran Kha.

Waleed Iqbal and Humayun Akhtar Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)are vying for the NA-131 ticket for the by-elections.

The PTI has decided to conduct a survey of the area to award the ticket toa suitable candidate. Ghulam Mohyuddin Dewan is likely to get the ticketfor NA-124.

However, Imran Khan will finalize the name of the candidate for theconstituency.

On July 25, Imran Khan obtained 84,313 votes in a nail-biting contestagainst PML-N’s strong candidate Kh Saad Rafique who secured 83,633 votesin NA-131.
