Pakistan Stock Exchange downfall continues

KARACHI - The Pakistan Stock Exchange was bearish Tuesday.

The KSE-100 Index closed Tuesday at 39617.19 points as compared to 40324.32 points Monday with a negative change of 707.13 points.

The total turnover was 139,435,560 as compared 98,711,760 Monday with Pak Elektron reflecting the highest turnover of 13,313,900. 

The total 359 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market Tuesday. Out of which 76 recorded gains and 269 sustained losses whereas the share price of 14 companies remained unchanged.

Pakistan Tobacco recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 72.64 rupees while Khyber Tobacco XD recorded maximum decrease that was 85.49 rupees.
