ISLAMABAD – Pakistan-Russia friendship is fast evolving into a maturepartnership and these relations are today characterized by mutual trust,commonality of interests, and convergence of views on important regionaland global issues.

In a statement on the eve of 70th anniversary of the establishment of theDiplomatic Relations between the two countries today, Foreign OfficeSpokesperson said that both have similar stakes in durable peace andstability in their common neighbourhood, and harbor shared aspirations forregional development and prosperity.
