Terrorist attacking Pakistan from Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD (APP): Minister for State and Frontier Regions Lt. General (Retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch Friday strongly condemned suicide attacked on innocent people in Mardan.

Talking to PTV, the minister said terrorists basis had shifted to Afghanistan due to operation Zarb-e-Azb and it had destroyed the nurseries of terrorism from the country.

He said there were no save heavens for terrorists in Pakistan and now the foreign elements are involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan.

Terrorists are now choosing soft targets for their attacks and as it is difficult to completely control the suicide attacks, there is dire need to change the mindset of terrorists and de- radicalization of extremist elements.

The minister said war against terrorism would continue till the end of last terrorist is eliminated from the country.

Replying to a question, he said enemies of Pakistan especially India do not want to see the completion of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and they are using different tactics for stopping it but they could not succeeded in their nefarious designs.

Baloch said Afghanistan is under influence of India and India was using Afghanistan against Pakistan for its own objectives.

He said although Pakistan has brotherly, religious and ethnic relations with Afghanistan but it has been using and playing in the hands of Pakistan's enemies.

To another query, he said action should be taken against all those who were involved in August 22 incident in Karachi and said that those who had dissociated from Altaf Hussain should be provided space to function.
