ISLAMABAD – Yet another Pakistani University calls for female and malestudents separation in class rooms.
Bahria University has ordered segregation of male and female students inclasses, according to a notification issued by the university registrardated August 30.
The notification directs varsity authorities to arrange separate leisurevisits for male and female students, and to discourage the formation ofgroups for academic work with both male and female members.
The bizarre notification does not end there, but also wants the universityadministration to minimize the movement of students from one building toanother in the university.
In order to achieve that, the university has decided to abolish breaksavailable to students between classes. A directive to increase the academicworkload of students has also been issued to staff.
