NEW DELHI – Indian Navy and Coast Guards have deployed Warships offshorecoast during the event of the Chinese President Xi Jinping arrival tosecure the maritime border from the security threat.
As per media report, Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard have deployedwarships at some distance from the shore to provide security from anyseaborne threat in Mahabalipuram ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi andChinese President Xi Jinping’s meeting on Friday.
Pictures of the warships deployed in the sea have been tweeted by newsagency ANI.
The second informal summit between PM Modi and President Xi is scheduledfor Friday. The Chinese President will arrive in India for his two-dayvisit in the afternoon in Chennai, after which he will go to the coastaltown Mahabalipuram.
PM Modi will give President Xi a guided tour of the three important UNESCOworld heritage sites in Mahabalipuram – Arjuna’s Penance, Panch Rathas andShore Temple.
