ISLAMABAD – Pakistan government responds over media reports linked with PMKhan meeting with Afghan Taliban.
Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awansaid, the Taliban delegation did not meet the Prime Minister Imran Khan,and the reports published and broadcast in this regard are baseless.
says the talks of a delegation of Taliban Political Commission with theForeign Minister in Islamabad yesterday is a positive sign for Afghanreconciliatory process.
In a tweet on Friday, she said this process is evident of the fact thatPakistan has always played an important role to create a favorableenvironment for regional and global peace.
