Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat expressed surprised over Pakistan PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD – Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat is surprised by PakistanPrime Minister Imran Khan statement over nuclear war against India.

Indian Army Chief General Rawat has expressed surprise over Pakistan PrimeMinister Imran Khan’s ‘threat’ regarding nuclear war between India andPakistan in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) onFriday (September 27).

General Bipin Rawat had said that the Pakistani prime minister mustunderstand that nuclear weapons are meant for deterrence and they are notused in conventional war.

Issuing a stern warning to Pakistan, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat onSunday said that the Line of Control between India and Pakistan issacrosanct but Indian forces will not hesitate in crossing the LoC ifIslamabad keeps on trying to create disturbances in India.

Army Chief stressed that the 2016 surgical strikes and the Balakotairstrikes in 2019 sent a clear message to Pakistan that India is notinterested in playing a ‘hide and seek’ game anymore and the Indian Army iswilling to cross the LoC to eliminate terrorists and their supporters.

Commenting on Pakistan’s latest call for jihad over Kashmir, General Rawatsaid that it shows that terror infrastructure is existing in Pakistan andthey are looking for opportunities to push terrorists inside India.

“Ït is a tacit acceptance of their support to terrorism in Jammu andKashmir” noted the Army chief.
