ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan reacts over media reports of dealwith former PM Nawaz Sharif. Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan—whilenullifying rumors of the deal—vowed to continue accountabilityindiscriminately.
Presiding over session of party’s spokespersons, the premier maintainedthat federal govt would not create hurdles if Nawaz Sharif fulfils legalprocedures.
PM further added that Nawaz has been allowed to travel abroad purely onhumanitarian grounds.
Earlier today, Federal Cabinet sanctioned removing the name of the ailingNawaz Sharif from Exit Control List (ECL), GNN reported.
However, the cabinet has linked removal of Nawaz Sharif’s name fromtravel-ban-list with submission of security bonds.
Also, a proposal was also under consideration to keep documents of NawazSharif’s assets as guarantee.
It has also been learned that Nawaz Sharif’s name will be removed from theECL for a shorter duration. The supremo of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz(PML-N) will be compelled to return once his treatment is over.
