ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Monday directednewly-appointed director general (DG) of Wajid Zia to tighten the noosearound those involved in money launderers.
PM apprised Zia that curbing corruption, immigration and money launderingremains the top agenda of the government.
“Pakistan is standing at the crossroads. Political leadership will give thevision while country’s bureaucracy will implement it”, the premier wasquoted as saying.
“Together, political top brass and bureaucracy will ascertain the future ofthe country”, added premier.
PM urged Zia to perform his duties with utmost honesty.
On the other hand, FIA DG assured the premier that he would leave no stoneunturned to perform his tasks efficaciously.
