KARACHI – *20 kilometers long symbolic human chain formed in Karachi toshow solidarity with Muslims of Occupied Kashmir.*
This 20 km symbolic human chain in Karachi, these participants say, is ashow of solidarity with Muslims in Kashmir who are living in open prisonsince the abrogation of article 370 last August.
Article 370 is a law that acknowledges the special status of the state ofJammu and Kashmir in terms of autonomy.
Protesters here are calling on the international community to pay moreattention to the issue of Kashmir. They say India’s decision to strip theregion of its autonomous status and Modi’s anti-Muslim policies have to beaddressed.
In this rally, participants condemned the double standards of the UN. Theyalso slammed the disappointing response of majority-Muslim countriesincluding Arab states and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
