ISLAMABAD – *Pakistan Military put on high alert along borders with Indiaafter casualties reported on both sides.*

The Pakistani and Indian soldiers stand eyeball to eyeball on the de-factoborder between the two countries in disputed Kashmir.

The border tension between the two nuclear-armed neighbors has once againflared up.

Pakistan says it has killed three Indian soldiers in retaliation for anattack by the Indian army which killed two of its soldiers near thede-facto border with the disputed Kashmir region.

The two countries accuse each other of provocation.

Pakistan has put its armed forces on high alert following the Indian armychief’s recent threats to make incursions.

Pakistan has vowed to hit back at India saying it has received intelligencethat the Indian army has deployed missiles near its borders and removedfences in at least five points on the de-facto border of the disputedKashmir region.

Some are concerned that things could easily get out of control.

Tensions have escalated between the two countries since India enacted acontroversial citizenship law which critics say discriminate againstMuslims.

Islamabad claims New Delhi is planning to attack Pakistan to divertattention from violent unrest in its northeast where people have beenstaging protests against the law.

Indian-administered Kashmir has been under an unprecedented lockdown eversince New Delhi revoked the region’s special autonomous status in earlyAugust.
