Sameh Hassan Shoukry, Foreign Minister of Egypt, called on General QamarJaved Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), at GHQ today.
According to ISPR, matters of mutual interest, regional security andcooperation in all fields of defence and security came under discussionduring the meeting.
The COAS link said Pakistan and Egypt enjoytruly brotherly relations and stressed the need for enhancing bilateralcooperation in all spheres.
Referring to the OIC summit, COAS linkit a historic development for addressing the dire humanitarian situation inAfghanistan and bringing international community to a shared vision andjoint strategy to find solution to emerging challenges in the region vitalfor peace and stability.
