The Pakistan cricket team got a much-needed boost as they prepare for theirupcoming World Cup match against Australia on October 20 in Bengaluru.
Reports indicate that the opening batsman Fakhar Zaman and the leg-spinnerUsama Mir have successfully recovered from their respective injuries andillnesses, making them viable choices for the crucial match.
Zaman had been grappling with a knee injury, while Mir had been battling afever. Following their arrival in Bengaluru from Ahmedabad, Pakistan is setto have their first training session on Tuesday.
In the tournament thus far, Pakistan has won two out of three matches, withtheir only defeat coming at the hands of their arch-rivals, India.
