ISLAMABAD: Security forces on Tuesday eliminated four terrorists belongingto Fitna Al Khawarij in three separate intelligence-based operations inKhyber Pakhtunkhwa, the ISPR said.
The military’s media wing stated the killed terrorists were directlyinvolved in attacks on security forces and civilians and were linked to theIndian-sponsored Khawarij network.
In Bajaur district, troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location.After an intense exchange of fire, one terrorist was sent to hell whileweapons and ammunition were recovered.
In North Waziristan’s Spinwam and Zakir Khel areas, two more Khawarijterrorists were killed during separate actions conducted on reportedpresence of militants.
In Dera Ismail Khan district, security forces cornered another terrorist ina hideout and neutralised him after he opened fire.
Large quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from allfour killed terrorists.
