LAHORE: Another convicted by military court was hanged in Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore here at today (Tuesday). The accused had been given death sentence by military court.
As per details, 2 prisoners Muhammad Aslam and Farukh Shahzad were to be sent to the gallows here at today at Kot Lakhpat jail but the implementation on the death sentence of Farukh Shahzad has been stopped due to forgiveness by complainant while Muhammad Aslam was sent to gallows.
Aslam was involved in a murder of a man in Misri Shah while he killed a man in Misri Shah over minor dispute in 2003.
It is also worthy to mention here that over 400 convicts of military courts have been hanged to death since 2014 after APS attack.
